Reneltta Arluk - Actor

Is an Inuk/Dene woman originally from the Northwest Territories. She is a graduate of the BFA Acting program from the University of Alberta and founder of Akpik Theatre, a professional Indigenous Theatre company in the NWT.

Recent and favourite acting credits include: Pig Girl (Imago Theatre), TUMIT (Akpik Theatre), Contest of the Winds (Caravan Farm), Rez Sisters (Belfry Theatre), Sila (Underground Railway), Night (Human Cargo Theatre), feature film Maïna (Strada Films), reality series Dene a Journey (APTN), touring Greece in Utopian Floes (Caravan Stage Tall Ship Theatre) and Copper Thunderbird (National Arts Centre). Reneltta was recently a member of Stratford’s 2015 Playwright residency.

She is currently working on a play about Tookoolito, Inuk woman guide to Charles Francis Hall in the late 1800’s.
